Future has responded to Rocko’s $10 million lawsuit, and as you’d expect the Atlanta rapper is not happy with the current situation. “Nigga lookin like dame out there,” he wrote. “Ion want my nigga lookin like no baby momma.”

He also questioned Rocko’s street cred. “Real street nigga went to the court house, how did it feel when u signed the papers?”

Rocko was quick to respond to Future’s tweets and refuted any scenario of him stepping foot in a courthouse. “LORD KNOWS I HAVEN’T SEEN A COURTHOUSE IN AGES! THAT’S WHAT LAWYERS ARE FOR!” This saga doesn’t seem like it’s going to end anytime soon.

According to TMZ, producer/rapper Rodney Ramone Hill, Jr., better known as Rocko, is going after Future for allegedly breaching a contract made five years ago. Rocko, who is the founder and owner of A1 Recordings, says he signed the Atlanta rapper on the condition that A1 would make his first six albums. Future later landed an Epic Records deal, which came with hefty advances worth millions.

Rocko says in the suit that his initial deal with Future entitles him to 25 percent of those advances, as well as 20 percent of Future’s earnings made from endorsements and concerts. It’s a sum that surpasses $10 million.

It’s just another instance that shows how money can mess up a relationship. Since signing him in 2011, Rocko has consistently taken credit for discovering Future, who was previously known as Meathead the Future. He also credits himself for teaching the rapper about the ins and outs of the business.

‘[Future’s] my little brother,” Rock told The Village Voice in 2013. “You don’t want family to get the wool pulled over their eyes so I’m teaching everything that I know. [As a result] he’s seen a lot and he’s seasoned. He been rapping since before I got my hands on him.”

The main claiming to have fought Bieber in Cleveland has since taken to Facebook to talk about the incident and said that it was all over asking for an autograph. As of right now, it’s hard to say if this was for sure the guy who fought Bieber, but you can see what he said in the video posted by TMZ below.

Justin Bieber apparently had a very serious disagreement with an unnamed individual Wednesday night in Cleveland. Footage obtained by TMZ shows Bieber outside a hotel in downtown Cleveland taking a blow to the head, then promptly returning the favor with a solid hit of his own. Then, as is so often the case, a full-on mini-brawl breaks out.

The footage was reportedly taken just after 11 p.m., with Bieber in town for game 3 of the NBA Finals. The Purpose behind the dispute, according to TMZ’s sources, currently remains unclear. Maybe some playful trash talk quickly turned to some decidedly less playful physical blows? No clue. It’s also currently unclear what prompted Bieber to attend the game, but he was seen during and before the game rocking some Cavs gear. If you remember, back in April, Bieber performed in Cleveland and actually predicted that the Cavs would win the title. So it appears he was just following up on his pick before things got completely out of hand. Bieber later responded to the fight on Instagram, writing that there wasn’t a scratch on him after the fight.

Way back in 2014, a much simpler time, Bieber was reportedly caught up in a similarly confusing dispute with actor Orlando Bloom. That disagreement, which took place at a restaurant in Ibiza, reportedly ended with Bloom throwing a missed punch just before Bieber dipped. We’ve reached out to Bieber’s peeps and will update when we hear back.

It only took one text from Fonzworth Bentley to get the newly-released Gucci Mane to jump on Kanye West’s already infamous Cruel Winter track, “Champions.” Bentley revealed as much during a Q&A on Twitter. “We were at the studio and [Kanye] mentioned Gucci getting out…I really gave him the play by play of the significance of all the beats of what that looked like,” he told the fans. Bentley explained he left to go take care of his daughter and by the time he had arrived back at the studio, Kanye had written a line about Gucci.

At that moment, Bentley knew they had to get Gucci on the track. “I sent one text message, industry insider, and got an income of texts immediately. Before I knew it, I was on the phone with Gucci and I connected him to ‘Ye and the rest is history.” As a result of Bentley’s brilliant idea to send that one text message, the world got what is now the incredibly GOOD “Champions.”

From there, Bentley spent the rest of the Q&A opening up about his past working with Puff Daddy in the fashion industry and collaborating with Kanye over the years. He also took questions from some of his closest friends and collaborators including Puff, Big Boi, and Ray J. When Puff asked what are some of the most important things he has learned over the years, Bentley responded with the wisdom of “Call Puff back.”

In their new Fader cover story, Rae Sremmurd shut down allegations made by Hot 97’s Ebro Darden that they don’t write their own raps. “It’s such a false statement,” Swae Lee said. “Where’d it come from? You pulled it out your ass. If you want to know who wrote my shit, go to my album credits.”

Rae Sremmurd’s manager Migo thought Ebro’s comments are based in an age-gap between the parties. “Ebro’s from a whole other generation, which is cool. He probably grew up on Ice Cube.” He added that Rae Sremmurd make music “that’s familiar to them, music they like to make.” The duo’s producer, Mike WiLL Made-It, had his own take on the matter: “I don’t think Ebro understands what good is.”

If you don’t remember, Ebro argued with Complex on Hot 97 over our Best Albums of 2015 list because we awarded Rae Sremmurd’s debut album, SremmLife, the No. 3 spot on the list.

Swae Lee also opened up about writing the hook for Beyoncé’s LEMONADE lead single “Formation.” “When I made that Beyoncé hook I was thinking nothing about it,” Swae Lee said. Understandably, he confessed to being starstruck by the Queen when she came by to play her new song. “A couple months later, Mike [WiLL Made-It] tells me that Beyoncé wants it. I couldn’t imagine! I come in the studio and she’s just like, a goddess or something. Just sitting there. This good aura. They played it for me and I’m like, It’s a new Beyoncé. She put her own twist on it. She has so much sauce on that song, it blew me away…She freaked it.”

The feud between Ebro and Mike WiLL Made-It continued well into 2016 when Ebro took issue with Swae Lee’s co-writing credit on the Beyoncé smash. “Co-writers very helpful,” he tweeted. “I co-motivate.” Just to make sure everyone still knew he disagreed with Complex, he also added that the brothers were “Still not #3.”

In the cover story, Rae Sremmurd say their music is really just meant for their fans who “believe in having a good time with people” and to turn all the way up to. “It’s a mutual feeling; we all wanna hear this shit. We all wanna feel like this at a party. We all wanna hear these words. We always wanted to do this,” Swae Lee explained. Even when the brothers broke down their debut album track-by-track for us, it was clear they had bars for days that were meant to help people have a good time.

Divorce isn’t always a profound bummer. For former married couple Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa, it’s cause for celebration. The two, who have a three-year old son together, reached a divorce settlement Monday that should make all involved parties very happy indeed.

Wiz will keep the Pennsylvania house and 10 very fine automobiles, TMZ reports. Among Wiz’s collection are a ’64 Impala, a ’68 Camaro, a ’69 Chevelle, and a Porsche. Rose gets $1 million thanks to the prenup, $644,000 of which Wiz still owes her. Rose will also see $14,800 a month in child support for their son Sebastian. The couple currently shares custody.

Sunday was an interesting day for Kanye West, as his headlining set at Governors Ball was canceled due to severe weather conditions in New York City. ‘Ye later joined his G.O.O.D. Music crew for a turnt up performance at Hot 97’s Summer Jam, which was apparently just the warm up for what they have in store for the weekend.

Future took to Twitter to explain why he didn’t perform as planned at this year’s annual Hot 97 Summer Jam on Sunday night. According to Future, it was Hot 97’s fault that he didn’t perform. “Radio station told me to leave…major pump fake,” he tweeted.

Future must have felt frustrated in the situation, but he also kept things positive. “Totally satisfied & happy wit hot 97 always showing love spinning my records…misunderstood, dnt play Yoself,” before adding “Positive vibes only..summer 16.”

Kimbo Slice’s manager Mike Imber confirmed Slice’s death in a text sent to the Associated Press early Tuesday morning. “We lost our brother today,” he said.

After making a surprise appearance at Summer Jam, Kanye West wants to hold a birthday concert at 2AM in lieu of his cancelled Gov Ball performance.

After the cancellation of his festival-closing set at Governors Ball, Kanye West quickly crossed into New Jersey to join his GOOD Music labelmates at HOT 97’s Summer Jam, which itself was plagued by today’s inclement weather, as the Festival Stage was cancelled and the Stadium Stage didn’t get going until almost 10PM. Things got off to a hot start, though, as GOOD Music took the stage after a quick warm-up set from New Yorkers Maino, 2Milly, and Uncle Murda. Though the bill originally read “GOOD MUSIC with Big Sean and Pusha T,” Kanye entered the stage with his labelmates, as did Desiigner, Travi$ Scott, and honorary GOOD member 2 Chainz.

The GOOD crew dropped a slew of its collab anthems, including “Mercy” and the brand new “Champions,” the first single off Cruel Winter.

After Summer Jam, Kanye is still intent in delivering a show in NYC in honor of his latest album, The Life of Pablo. It is his birthday, after all, and he and his GOOD friends (and wifey) celebrated backstage at Summer Jam with a custom Pablo cake.

Virgil Abloh, Kanye’s creative director, went on Instagram to share a picture that showed him going over GOOD Music’s planned Summer Jam setlist backstage. In the original caption of the post (which has since been removed — see above), Abloh wrote, “we’re doing PABLO at 2am in Manhattan. sorting out where now.” With the edited caption, it’s unclear if Ye is still hell-bent on setting up an impromptu show at 2AM. Knowing NYC venues, it’ll be a tall task. Regardless, adventurous New Yorkers should stay tuned for a possible announcement, as a surprise Kanye birthday show in the wee hours of Sunday morning is certainly worth ruining tomorrow’s workday for.

Streaming giant Spotify is no stranger to court battles regarding usage rights. But while the company’s previous battles have mostly come up against music artists and record labels, Spotify has now found itself the target of a photographer who has filed a suit against the company for copyright infringement over the use of some of her photographs, namely one of the Notorious B.I.G.
