Earlier this week, V Live held a job fair for the club’s potential employees. Dancers from all over the state of Georgia and beyond came to audition. TMZ says recruiters were looking for a specific type of candidates who had “a well-rounded butt, toned body and tight abs.”

From the ever-giving fountain of Reddit comes some pretty interesting stories about fan encounters with famous rappers. The thread simply asked “Which hip hop artists have you met in person? Who was cool? Who was a dick? What did you speak about? etc,” and users were more than happy to share their stories—mostly positive—about encountering hip-hop stars.

The majority of the encounters were simple and pleasant, with users describing Vince Staples as “hilarious in person,” Big Sean as “super shy and the most humble dude ever,” and Lil Yachty as “pretty scared but pretty cool about it.”

It looks like Lil Wayne is going to be fine. Just hours after the rapper was reportedly taken to the hospital, Young Money president Mack Maine went to Twitter to give Weezy’s fans some peace of mind.

According to TMZ, Wayne suffered another seizure after the plane took off again and has now been taken to the hospital by ambulance.

Lil Wayne’s plane was reportedly forced to make an emergency landing Monday in Nebraska after the rapper had a seizure during a cross-country flight, according to TMZ. While the report says Wayne is currently alert after blacking out during the flight, he’s reportedly refusing medical attention from paramedics on the scene. If you remember, these are the same issues that Wayne dealt with back in 2012 and 2013 when multiple flights he was on were forced to make emergency landings due to his seizures.
Wayne later revealed that he suffered from epilepsy, but has since been in relative good health, at least in the public eye. TMZ notes Wayne was traveling from Milwaukee to Los Angeles when the plane made the emergency landing in Nebraska. It’s currently unclear if Wayne will be allowed back on the plane today or if he’ll have to visit a hospital to get himself checked out. Back in January, reports came out that Wayne was once again drinking lean, though it’s unclear if that’s connected to his seizures. We’ve reached out to reps for Lil Wayne, who have yet to respond to comment. Karen Civil, who is close with Wayne, later tweeted that Mack Maine had told her that Wayne is good.
Complex was able to speak to a rep for the Eppley Airport in Nebraska where Lil Wayne’s plane landed at, and though they were not able to confirm it was him on the plane, they did confirm a plane made an emergency landing and the individual has refused medical attention. The plane has yet to take back off according to the rep for the airport. We’ll continue to update this story as more details are made availab

While Rihanna works to build her fashion empire, a Nigerian concert promoter is looking to throw a wrench in her plans. The “Bitch Better Have My Money” singer and Jay Z’s Roc Nation are being sued for allegedly banking six figures from a concert that never actually happened.

Chris Ubosi filed a lawsuit in Manhattan Supreme Court on Monday alleging that he and his company, along with local promoters in Lagos, were stiffed out of $160,000 after Rihanna was due to perform back in May 2013, the New York Daily News reported. Roc Nation, however, says Ubosi was scammed and that Rihanna was not the person they were talking with about the supposed concert.

“Rihanna, Roc Nation nor anyone associated personally or professionally with either party was in contact with this person,” a rep from Roc Nation told Complex. “Unfortunately this person was scammed. Rihanna nor Roc Nation collected any money for this event.”

Ubosi says he agreed to pay $435,000 for a 65-minute show at the popular Eko Hotel and coughed up the $160,000 in advance. When the concert was pushed back to July, a new date still hadn’t been set several weeks out, so he decided to cancel.

By the looks of it, those Nigerian advance-fee scams have made their way from your grandmother’s email to large scale events.

Future’s Dirty Sprite 2 has sold over one million copies, officially earning the rapper his first solo platinum album. On top of that, Future’s 2015 hit “March Madness” now certified gold by the RIAA for selling more than half a million copies through physical sales and streaming.

His joint effort with Drake, What a Time to Be Alive, was also certified platinum in March. Future previously struggled with solo album sales, but DS2 proved to instantly be a game changer for the rapper after moving 147,000 units in its opening week, which was more than double the sales of his first two albums, Pluto and Honest, combined.

Troy Ave has been indicted in connection to the fatal shooting at Irving Plaza that left one person dead and three injured last month.

The New York Daily News reports that Troy Ave—real name Roland Collins—did not appear in Manhattan Criminal Court when his case was called earlier this morning. However, prosecutor Christine Keenan told the court that the grand jury had voted on the high-profile case, and she plans on filing an affirmative grand jury action as soon as possible.

Collins was arrested on attempted murder and weapon charges after the NYPD released a graphic video depicting him firing off shots inside the venue. It is unclear if he shot himself before or after the video that was posted online.

While his court date originally got pushed back due to his hospitalization, today’s announcement of his indictment didn’t reveal whether or not his charges were upgraded to something more severe. He is scheduled to appear in court on June 22, where his indictment will be read to him.

During his incarceration, the Brooklyn-bred rapper has released a new mixtape proclaiming his innocence. On the opening freestyle, he raps, “Pussy nigga tried to assassinate me / I took the gun from him and turned the tables ‘round like a G.”

No one from Troy Ave’s B$B camp has responded to the news of his indictment. The law offices of Scott Leemon, Troy’s lawyer, did not immediately respond to Complex’s request for comment.

Bobby Brown blames his daughter Bobbi Kristina’s death on himself and on her former boyfriend Nick Gordon.

Brown discussed Bobbi Kristina’s death in a 20/20 interview that aired Tuesday night. Bobbi Kristina, Brown’s only daughter with late singer Whitney Houston, died last July at the age of 22 while in hospice care. Bobbi Kristina was put in a medically induced coma, where she remained for months, after she was found unresponsive in a bathtub by her boyfriend Nick Gordon in their Atlanta home. This happened days before the third anniversary of Houston’s death.

“We could have been better. We should have been better,” Brown said in the 20/20 interview, referring to himself and Houston, who also dealt with substance-abuse issues.

But Brown also blamed Houston’s unofficially adopted son Nick Gordon, who later became Bobbi Kristina’s boyfriend.

“It’s not a mystery to me. The same thing that happened to my daughter is what happened to Whitney,” Brown said. Houston’s body was discovered face-down in a bathtub filled with water. A coroner’s report revealed that Houston was “acutely intoxicated from cocaine” at the time of her death.

“He knows what happened,” Brown said of Gordon. “I don’t know what happened that night. But he does.”

Brown added that Gordon was the only person around Houston and Bobbi Kristina near the time of their deaths.

A wrongful death lawsuit was filed against Gordon by Bobbi Kristina’s court-appointed conservator after her death. In the suit, Gordon was accused of beating Bobbi Kristina, giving her a “toxic cocktail,” and putting her face-down in a bathtub, WXIA reported.

In March, the medical examiner’s office reported that Bobbi Kristina’s death was a result of drowning and drugs. Alcohol, marijuana, and anxiety medication also had a hand in the death, according to the medical examiner’s office. The report, however, couldn’t prove whether the death was intentional or accidental.

Ab-Soul hit Twitter Tuesday night to alert fans that the tracklist for his new album has been turned in, which could mean that we will be hearing new music from the Top Dawg Entertainment artist sooner rather than later. It’s still unknown what the new album will be called, but Soul did hashtag the tweet with #DWTW, which could be a hint at the title’s acronym.

The message can only be a positive one for fans who have been waiting for new music from Soul since his last album, These Days, dropped back in 2014. It sounded like Soul shared in his fans’ frustration, tweeting back in February, “This bench is gettin warm as fucc tho mayne. Nonetheless, it’s important to move as a unit. It’s bigger than me. It’s family.”
