Prince protégée Judith Hill spoke to The New York Times about the scary experience she endured in April when a plane carrying Prince was forced to make an emergency landing just a few days before the late pop star’s death. A few hours after taking off from Atlanta, Hill, who was traveling with Prince, noticed him go unconscious. “Thankfully, I happened to be looking into his face,” she told the NYT.

Hill says she was able to immediately summon help from Prince’s aide Kirk Johnson. “We knew it was only a matter of time; we had to get down,” Hill said. “We didn’t have anything on the plane to help him.”

Hill recalls being very upset and “freaked out” as Prince remained unresponsive throughout the plane’s entire descent. When they landed, paramedics were waiting on the tarmac, and they revived Prince with the anti-overdose drug Narcan. By the time they got him to the hospital, he was awake again. This came as a huge relief for Hill. “I thought he was gone,” she said. She recalled him taking the event very seriously. “He was very cooperative that whole night,” she said, “serious about getting help.”

It’s often said that prison can change a man, but in the case of recently freed Gucci Mane, many think he’s not even the same person. Literally.

After an early release from Indiana’s Terre Haute penitentiary last month, the 36-year-old rapper came out with a slimmer body, a new commitment to a healthy lifestyle, and even a new accent that can be heard on his Snapchat stories. The internet quickly made note of these changes and eventually conceived one of the dumbest conspiracy theories in recent memory: the real Gucci Mane is still behind bars and was replaced with a government clone.

The whole thing went down this past weekend at Hot 107.9’s FM annual Birthday Bash concert. Radio personality DJ Traci Steele tried to welcome the rapper before he was set to hit the stage, but Gates seemed to be less up for talking then usual. The whole thing got off to a rocky start when Steele put her hand on his shoulder. Gates seemed visibly disgusted as he stepped back away to create an ever bigger space between the two.

Steele proceeded to shoot some more questions Gates’ way to get some kind of response, but he responded with pretty short and vague answers that were about a sentence long regarding what he had planned for his performance. As for what he has coming up, he told Steele, “I don’t let the left hand know what the right hand is doing. So you’re just going to have to stay tuned.” The excruciatingly awkward interview went pretty much the same way for the two-minute period as Steele continued to attempt to extract some answers from the rapper.

Troy Ave has reportedly avoided a murder charge in the Irving Plaza shooting that left one dead and three injured, according to TMZ. The Brooklyn rapper is being indicted on several felony counts, including one count of attempted second degree murder and four counts of criminal possession of a weapon. If convicted of the felonies, the sentence would mean decades of jail time for the rapper.

Previously, Troy Ave was arrested with a report noting that police “were awaiting the result of ballistics tests before charging Troy Ave with murder.” At this time, the results of the ballistic testing is unknown. Troy Ave’s lawyer, Scott Leemon, also defended his client to the press stating that footage from the shooting did not explain the whole story. “The video does not show everything nor explain what happened in the VIP room before Troy came running out, as a victim, after he was shot,” he said.

So far, there’s no announcement of ticket costs, venue locations, or opening acts, although all this information is likely forthcoming. It’s also unclear if this will strictly be a traditional tour or if it will borrow some elements from the Magnificent Coloring World Party that Chance threw in Chicago in May.

Drake owes French Montana a lot of money after the Cavaliers won the NBA Finals Sunday night. French took to his personal Snapchat to put his friend on blast for choosing Steph Curry and the Warriors over LeBron James and the Cavaliers.

“Shout-out to my brother Drizzy Drake for that 60 bands, ‘cause you ain’t believe in LeBron,” he said. The Golden State Warriors were a favorite going into Sunday night’s game and previously had a 3-1 lead over the Cavaliers at one point in the series. However, LeBron helped his team clinch the Championship in the final minutes of the game. Of course, LeBron also succeeded on a personal level with 27 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assists to defeat the defending champions.

LeBron James did a little bit of everything on Sunday night as the Cavaliers defeated the Warriors in Game 7 of the 2016 NBA Finals to win the first NBA title in Cavs history. It was also the first time an NBA team ever rebounded from a 3-1 deficit in the Finals to win the title.
