Cam’ron has always been known for his love of the color pink, but he’s definitely taking things to a whole new level in 2016. During the latest episode of Sneaker Shopping, Cam revealed that he’s actually gotten the rights to his own signature shade of pink. “I got with Pantone,” he explained. “I’ve got my own pink, it’s called Killa Pink.”

Cam revealed that his shade of pink is going to tie into his new album release as well as his new sneakers. “In November, when I put out my new album it’s called Killa Pink,” he said. “And then I got the Reebok 2’s, the Flea 2’s, is gonna be made in pony skin with Killa Pink also.” Cam also noted that any company who wanted to work with his shade of pink should hit him up. “So Nike can holler at me or whoever can holler at me about using my color whenever they want,” he said. “Because it will be the official pink. Anything else is fugazi.”

Killa Pink will be Cam’s first proper album release since 2009’s Crime Pays, although he’s released a number of mixtapes and collaborative EPs since then. The Flea 2’s are Cam’s second sneaker collaboration with Reebok. He previously released a pair back in April, which featured the famous picture of him in the furry pink coat on the insoles.

Troy Ave has been released from jail Monday afternoon on a $500,000 bail. According to NYDN, the rapper was indicted on one count of second degree attempted murder and three counts of second degree criminal possession of a weapon in relation to the deadly shooting at Irving Plaza back in May.

Ave was injured in both of his legs during the shooting, although it is still unconfirmed if his injuries were the result of on or more bullets. Sadly, Troy Ave’s bodyguard and friend, Ronald McPhatter, was killed that night, but Ave remains adamant that he did not fire the bullet. Three more individuals were injured with gun shot wounds that night.

A week after initially being arrested, Ave dropped the Free Troy Ave mixtape where he rapped about the night’s tragic events, claiming that someone tried to shoot him first before he “turned the tables ’round like a G—R.I.P. my nigga, B-A-N-G.” There is precedent in the United States for referring to rap lyrics in a trial, so there is a chance that his mixtape will come up at a later time.

Authorities are still investigating the shooting to determine the exact order of events of that night. In the meantime, Ave will is required to wear an ankle bracelet and must remain in the city, as ordered by Justice Ronald Zweibel. He must also stay away from all performance venues including concert halls, bars, and arenas.

We all know Jay Z and Beyoncé stay making bank, but their earnings this past year were so high they were able to reclaim their title as the highest-paid celebrity couple on Forbes’ Celebrity 100 list.

Here’s a break down of the figures: Within the past 12 months, the two raked in a total of $107.5 million: Bey took the No. 34 individual spot with $54 million in earnings, while Jay ranked at No. 36 with $53.5 million.

According to Forbes, Beyoncé was able to get the edge on her husband thanks in large part to her Formation World Tour, as well as the release of her sixth No. 1 studio album LEMONADE. The project’s exclusive debut on Tidal also generated a hefty sum for the Carters, who are co-owners the streaming service along with several other well-known artists.

But clearly, Jay isn’t freeloading off of Bey. Though he hasn’t gone on tour this past year, the 47-year-old rap mogul made plenty of dough through his Armand de Brignac champagne and D’Ussé cognac deals, as well as Roc Nation, the entertainment company he founded in 2008.

The last time Jay and Beyoncé were named the highest-paid celebrity couple was back in 2013. Last year’s title went to Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris, who would’ve landed at the No. 1 spot again if they hadn’t called it quits before this year’s list had launched. Swift was this year’s highest-paid celebrity with $170 million; Harris took the No. 21 spot with $63 million.

Forget about Pokémon Go for a second. Get it out of your head. Two short (but kinda long?) years ago, Kim Kardashian crash-landed into the world of apps and wallet-draining games with Kim Kardashian: Hollywood. Haters, as they so often do, were quick to hate on it. But millions of dollars and 30,000 years of collective playtime later, the role-playing game has risen from the E-list to the A-list, earning Kim the cover of this month’s Forbes.

It was a fascinating presser filled with insights.

Durant “went back and forth” between the Thunder and Warriors for two or three days before finally making his decision Monday at 7 a.m. He said he wanted to sleep on it. Durant’s official decision was posted on The Players’ Tribune around 11:30 a.m.

Snoop Dogg and The Game are hosting a peaceful rally in Los Angeles titled Operation H.U.N.T.—Hate Us Not Today—right now “to stand with us today and walk peacefully to the LAPD headquarters.” Their objective is clear: “To make the Californian government and it’s law branches aware that from today forward, we will be unified as minorities and we will no longer allow them to hunt us or be hunted by us.”

As written on The Game’s Instagram, the rally calls on “all African American men, Mexican American men, and any other race of real men with heart” to walk peacefully to accomplish their mission. However, their rally call also specifies some important rules as to what not to bring or do, including come with any guns or weapons or come high or drunk. The specification is an important one considering the tragic that struck on Thursday evening. “We will stand as we are, UNIFIED. I’m calling ALL GANGS, ALL RACES, ALL GROWN MEN affiliated or not & WE WILL STAND UNIFIED tomorrow!!!!,” he wrote. “We do not need to be dumb, retarded or uncivilized today…ALL WE NEED IS EACH OTHER…I will not lead any of you into a trap!!!!!

Videos from the march show that it is completely peaceful, with everyone walking together in a quiet calm of solidarity. The marchers are watching a new class of LAPD officers graduate as LAPD Chief Officer Beck gives a speech. “I was overtaken by sorrow and rage,” Officer Beck told the class, according to LA Times reporter Kate Mather who is in attendance. “This is not about black lives, this is not about brown lives, this is not about blue lives. This is about America.” Mather, who has been on the ground at the protest tweeting it live notes that the whole thing is “100% peaceful.”

The protest follows a week of senseless killing and chaos that has left Alton Sterling and Philando Castile dead at the hands of police and several police officers and civilians dead and injured after a protest erupted Thursday night in Dallas, Texas. In addition to the Snoop and the Game’s admirable on-the-ground efforts, artists have come out in full to lend their voices to the cause and channel anger into unifying protest tracks. Jay Z dropped “Spiritual” and Miguel dropped a spontaneous demo he recorded in his London hotel room titled “How Many.” Swizz Beatz, Slim Thug, Mistah Fab, Mike Dean, and Young Buck also dropped protest songs.

In light of all the recent tragedy, it’s pretty incredible to see both Snoop and The Game lead by example out on the streets of Los Angeles and funnel their outrage into action. Friday afternoon, Snoop, The Game, L.A. Mayor Eric Garcetti, and LAPD Chief Charlie Beck are all holding a news conference together outside police headquarters.

“NoChillGil” is a very fitting name for Gilbert Arenas’ Snapchat, and on Thursday, Arenas more than lived up to the name when he hopped over the gate at Nick Young’s house after explaining that Swaggy P “won’t give me the gate code.” He then walked right into Young’s house, and within about 10 seconds, it was pretty clear why Young has gone out of his way to keep Arenas out of his residence.

After walking into Young’s house, Arenas repeatedly asked the Lakers guard, “Why you cheating on Iggy [Azalea] all the time?” From that point on, you could tell Young wanted Arenas to leave. But Gil being Gil, he pressed on and started being an absolute dick to Young’s son Nick Jr. While sitting on the couch with Young, Arenas then brought up Keonna Green—the mother of Young’s son, who is expecting a second child with Young—and told him, “You know I’m the new O.J., I’ll take care of her for the low, low price” before flashing a knife in front of the camera. And while it was hard to imagine things getting any stranger than they already were after that, they did! In the next set of Snapchat clips, Arenas took shots at Young as he walked through the now-empty home he shared with Iggy, bullied his son on Young’s outdoor basketball court, and even painted over Iggy’s name in one room of the house.

Since the news of Azalea and Young’s breakup, Arenas has been quite vocal about it. He went as far as to write a lengthy Instagram post where he blamed Iggy for Nick’s cheating. We don’t know where their friendship currently stands, but something tells us that Young probably wants Gilbert as far away from him as possible. How long before he builds a taller fence around the outside of his home?

Noted #coolpants wearer Wiz Khalifa wasn’t happy with just one compliment from Kanye West. Wiz has been focused on evolving his personal style and sat down with The New York Times to discuss working with stylist Lauren Matos and share some sage advice about the relationship between money and fashion.

“I feel like when people start getting money, they start dressing weird,” Khalifa told The Times. “But I also want to graduate my style. I’m 28 years old, so you can’t dress like no little kid anymore.” Wiz said that Matos introduced him to high-end designers who could help him capture the streetwear look he wanted and move beyond brands like Palace and Supreme at the same time.

Now, Khalifa says he’s all about what he calls his “party shirts.” “Nice button-ups, real silky, with crazy prints,” he explained. You don’t have to go very deep in Khalifa’s Instagram to see exactly what he’s talking about.

Drake has officially tied a record set by the King of Pop himself, Michael Jackson. Last week, we reported on Drake sharing some of his Billboard spotlight with Red Hot Chili Peppers and Radiohead, but all eyes are once again on Drake. Adding to the growing list of accomplishments he’s earned since dropping his latest album Views back in April, Drake has now earned seven consecutive weeks on the Billboard 200 and Hot 100 charts. At present time, Drake and Michael Jackson are the only male artists to have hit this height. The Beatles and Whitney Houston are at a tie for the all-time record, which means they had albums and records on the charts simultaneous for 12 straight weeks.

For yet another history-making week, Drake’s name is plastered all over the Billboard charts. Besides the aforementioned honors, Drake is also at the top of The Hot 100 as an artist. Justin Timberlake, Red hot Chili Peppers, Justin Bieber and Radiohead may dot sections close to Billboard’s Holy Trinity of Hot 100, Billboard 100 and Artist 100, but none have as ubiquitous of a presence as Drake. As the summer progresses, “One Dance” continues to be dominate the Songs of the Summer chart as well.

When it comes to his own genres, Drake is of course the dominant artist as well. Views continues to be the No. 1 LP on the Rap Albums and Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts, while lead single “One Dance” takes top honors on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay, R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Songs, Hot R&B Songs and R&B Streaming Songs. Currently, Desiigner is the only other rapper to have multiple No. 1’s in the R&B/Hip-Hop section. The GOOD Music rapper’s breakout hit “Panda” is at the top of R&B/Hip-Hop Streaming Songs, Rap Streaming Songs and Hot Rap Songs.

As Billboard themselves have reported on, Drake is closing in on ten major, specific accomplishments and records thanks to Views and “One Dance.” As the summer progresses, we’ll see how many more he can knock out by season’s end.

Lor Scoota’s manager, Trayvon “Truz” Lee, was killed in Northwest Baltimore Wednesday night, according to The Baltimore Sun. Lee was the CEO of YBS Records and a relative to popular dirt bike rider Chino Braxton. He was 24 years old.

According to police, Lee was shot multiple times in his upper body in what is being dubbed a deliberate attack outside a home where he reportedly lived. Police have not named suspects the shooting.

“The city I did so much for an put it all behind had betrayed me bro,” Braxton wrote on Instagram. “They took you [a] person who means so much to me my brother.” In the post, Braxton also recognizes that he will take care of Lee’s son like his own. 19-year-old Braxton was actually shot two times in the head in Baltimore just this past February. Miracuously, Braxton survived.

Braxton also addressed everything on Twitter in a series of tweets where he called out the city of Baltimore and the urgent need for everyone to do things better. “They tell us to keep it real but kill us!” he admits flatly before bringing the whole thing home with a chilling note that his little sister was there to witness him getting shot in the head.

The tragic loss comes less than two weeks after 23-year-old Lor Scoota, a rising Baltimore rapper, was shot and killed in broad daylight Saturday in Northeast Baltimore. Hours before his death, Scoota hosted charity basketball game called “Touch the People Pray for Peace in These Streets.” Meek Mill, The Game, and Yo Gotti all jumped on social media to mourn the senseless loss and pray for Scoot’s family.

Braxton’s message is clear. The devastating loss of life that is happening far too often needs to stop.
