Lady Gaga is reportedly in talks to play the Super Bowl 51 halftime show in Houston in February 2017. According to Billboard, the singer could clinch the biggest stage of the year because the NFL was impressed by her performance of The Star-Spangled Banner at the 2016 Super Bowl.

The last year has definitely been a big one for Gaga, who won a Golden Globe and was nominated for an Oscar for Best Original Song, “‘Til It Happens to You.” She is currently gearing up for the release of her forthcoming album and already dropped the project’s first single, “Perfect Illusion,” which was produced by Mark Ronson, BloodPop, and Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker.

“We have had conversations with several fantastic artists about the Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show,” an NFL rep told Billboard in a statement when asked about Gaga. “However, at this point we do not have a final decision. We’re happy there is so much excitement about the show.”

Previously, Adele said she passed on the NFL’s offer to perform at the Super Bowl 51 halftime show. “They were very kind, they did ask me, but I said no,” she told the audience at her concert in August. However, the NFL and show sponsor Pepsi said there had been no formal offer. “The NFL and Pepsi are big fans of Adele. We have had conversations with several artists about the Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show. However, we have not at this point extended a formal offer to Adele or anyone else,” they said in a joint statement. “We are focused on putting together a fantastic show for Houston and we look forward to revealing that in good time.”

Kanye West fans have already tried to convince the NFL to let the rapper perform at the halftime show with the hashtag campaign #KanyeWestForSuperBowl51, which would undoubtedly be an incredible choice considering ‘Ye’s penchant for entertaining and putting on epic shows like his current Saint Pablo Tour.

?Of course, the NFL has operated on a pretty clear-cut pattern of picking non-controversial Super Bowl performers since the infamous Janet Jackson/Justin Timberlake incident of 2004 and it’s likely their next pick will stand by that method.

Today is the 20th anniversary of the death of Tupac Shakur. Shipp talked about his role in the movie with XXL back in March and noted how honored he was to be playing the iconic rapper. “I have to say that I’m a very passionate person, a person that’s very driven on integrity and my beliefs,” he said. “I believe there’s definitely a similarity there. Just getting into the character, I fell in love with who he was. It was common things that were brought together with me and him, our childhood. It was a crazy thing to be able to do it.”

Other stars in the film include Jamal Woolard as The Notorious B.I.G., Grace Gibson as Faith Evans, Danai Gurira as Afeni Shakur, Kat Graham as Jada Pinkett-Smith, and Stefon Washington as Puff Daddy. Just a week after we got the official remix of “Timmy Turner” featuring Kanye West, Travi$ Scott confirmed that there’s more coming our way.

During an interview with Beats 1 Radio host Ebro Darden on Monday, La Flame revealed that one of his tracks is getting the remix treatment, and it will feature Ye.

Scott didn’t give many details about what we can expect. He did say, however, that the remix will be of a cut from his new project Birds In the Trap Sing McKnight, which just debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. He also announced that it will debut on Apple Beats 1 Radio in the near future. So you’ll definitely want to keep your eyes peeled for that.

Lira Galore opened up about her failed engagement to Rick Ross on OWN’s Iyanla: Fix My Life, as she went into detail on what went wrong. The pair initially got engaged in September of 2015, but called the whole thing off only two months later.

“Our relationship was phenomenal, but then he changed. He was doing a lot of sneaky things behind my back,” Galore explained on Fix My Life. “I’m angry because I want our black men to value us, and they don’t.” From there, Galore went on to describe how her anger drives her to drinking because “I like the way it makes me feel. It makes me forget my pain, my hurt, my heartbreak,” before adding that it sometimes leads to her acting out.

Galore said her biggest problem in the relationship was “being naive” and “listening to anything I was being told.”

It didn’t take long for Lira to receive backlash and criticism for appearing on the show, so she took to Instagram to respond to the feedback after the episode aired Saturday night. “I chose to do this show for my women followers,” she wrote. “It’s easy to see public relationships or lifestyles on Instagram and forget we are all human. We are all naive at times. I’ve learned you have to stay focused on your goals, and the love you build for yourself will always be remain solid. Outside that, you have to trust your worth as a person and as a woman.”

Fresh off the release of his sophomore album Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight, Travi$ Scott is making big business moves. The deal will include all of his previous work, including Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight. “I’ve been chasing Travi$ Scott for years. His talent and ambitions are limitless. He’s a rock star, as well as being a brilliant writer/producer,” said Jody Gerson, the CEO of UMPG.

Justin Bieber took BBC Radio 1’s Clara Amfo around his L.A. mansion and his home is probably better than anyone imagined.

“Go in the pool. I got this awesome water slide. There’s a lot of fish in here so I go bass fishing,” he says pointing to his own personal pond. He also has a row boat he takes out rowing every morning where he listens to music and prays. There’s also a mountain right in his backyard that he likes to hike up to go chill under the Wisdom Tree at the top.

It all sounds pretty zen until Bieber moves the tour over by his pool where he has a massive double water slide that he got the day before this interview for his little sister. Soon enough, the two walk over to the driveway where Bieber has a decent basketball court setup to shoot some hoops where the singer’s competitive side starts to show. Even Bieber’s newest dog Todd, who has his own Instagram account, makes a quick cameo.

Unfortunately, Bieber is still without his Instagram after it was deleted, although he later told his Twitter followers that it was deleted on accident, brought it back for a minute, and then it disappeared again.

The big question is if Bieber actually gets to spend any time here considering he is constantly working and currently on his Purpose World Tour. “When I have time off, yeah. I’m here.”
