Gucci Mane’s incarceration saga may officially be over. In a story posted to his Snapchat, Gucci can be seen dramatically cutting off the ankle monitor he’s been wearing ever since he was released from prison back in May. This would seem to indicate that the house arrest portion of his incarceration is over. His girlfriend Keyshia Ka’ior can be heard in the background saying, “It’s over with. Yay!”

If this is the true end of his house arrest, it would represent a major legal victory for Gucci Mane, who has been confined to his home since May. He served about three years in prison for gun charges before being released to house arrest. Since then, he’s been a busy man. He threw a homecoming concert, recorded and released his album Everybody Looking, as well as numerous guest features, and is already planning his follow-up Woptober.

Since his release, he’s become rap’s latest Snapchat personality as well, broadcasting his love for Game of Thrones and kicking it in his lavish home in Atlanta. He’s been very public about his recovery from drug addiction, and has spoken at length about how he wishes to inspire others to get their lives on track.

Now, with the apparent end of his home incarceration, it seems he’s taking the latest steps towards fully rejoining society. Big congratulations to Gucci Mane for the achievement.

Rapper and songwriter Quentin Miller, best known for that time his reference track for Drake landed him in the center of Drizzy’s beef with Meek Mill, has revealed publicly for the first time that he has had his foot amputated.

A picture Miller put on Instagram on Friday shows that his leg below the the calf is replaced by a prosthetic. In the caption, he compared himself to Falco Lombardi of the Star Fox video game series, whose legs are made of metal.

Though Miller did not say when the injury that led to the amputation happened, his manager Cam Singletary, aka Coach Cambut, confirmed the rumors that it was the result of a recent car accident.

Thanks for being patient. Falco when it's …

YG took his Donald Trump hatred to a new level recently when he invited fans on stage to beat a piñata in the shape of the Republican presidential candidate. In a video captured by fans at the show, YG and several of his fans can be seen hitting a Trump shaped piñata with sticks, exploding the paper mache likeness and then throwing it into the crowd. YG follows this action with a cry of “Fuck Donald Trump,” and then launches into his song of the same name.

This is hardly the first time that YG has made his displeasure of Donald Trump known. His song “FDT (Fuck Donald Trump)” has become a political anthem during this election season for those angry about the actions and rhetoric of Mr. Trump. Back in April, YG even noted that Secret Service had been in contact with him over the song. “Secret Service hollering at the label,” he said. “They asked to see the lyrics on my album to see if I’m talking about [Trump] on my album, because if I’m talking about him on my album they’re going to try and take it off the shelves.”

His album Still Brazy eventually made it to stores, but the interaction seemingly hasn’t dissuaded YG from continuing to forcefully speak out about Trump. It’s certainly hard to imagine those on the left being cool with someone beating a likeness of Hillary Clinton, so we’ll have to see what the reaction is from those who have previously praised YG for his outspoken political voice.

Lil Wayne and Birdman’s seemingly never-ending drama continues on Monday with new reports that Tyga was released from his contract without Lil Wayne’s input. TMZ claims that Birdman allowed Tyga out of his contract with YMCMB without consulting Wayne on the decision. Since Cash Money owns 51% of Wayne’s Young Money label, technically Birdman doesn’t have to consult with Wayne about any decisions he makes for the label. Still, the move allowed Tyga to leave and get snatched up by Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music without Wayne’s involvement at all. According to the report, this was yet another one of the reasons behind Wayne and Birdman’s very public falling out.

Alicia Keys has decided to put her own spin on Desiigner’s “Tiimmy Turner” and it’s one you won’t soon forget.

In a clip posted to Instagram, she lays into piano keys with those haunting first new chords before singing Desiigner’s lyrics, seamlessly adding her own twist by replacing “Tiimmy” with “Tina.” “Havin’ some fun…. #desiigner #tiimmyturner #tinaturner ” she captioned the video.

Keys has made a triumphant return to the spotlight this past year, dropping new music like her song “In Common,” which Kanye West and Travi$ Scott decided to turn up even more with a remix. She has also been busy as one of two new judges to join the The Voice’s latest panel for the 11th season of the singing reality show.

A judge has ruled Nick Gordon as “legally responsible” for Bobbi Kristina Brown’s death after he failed to appear in court for a hearing on Friday, according to 11 Alive news. Fulton County Superior Court Judge T. Jackson Bedford said Gordon has failed to appear twice and therefore, anything alleged by the plaintiff, Bobbi Kristina’s conservator, is admitted through omission by not showing up to court.

The conservator of Brown’s estate filed a wrongful death civil lawsuit against Gordon in 2015, a couple of months after she passed away, accusing the former boyfriend of Brown of assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and transferring money from Brown’s account into his own without authorization.

“In court today, we finally finished a long journey for justice for Bobbi Kristina Brown,” R. David Ware, a lawyer for Brown’s conservator, said following the judge’s decision. “The court agrees with us, by striking Mr. Gordon’s answer that he is legally responsible for her death. The only thing left to prove is the value of her life. We intend to do that. Bobbi Brown, the father represented by Craig Terry. Mr. Gordon will not put on any evidence in contradiction of that.”

A jury will determine the amount of damages to be awarded to Brown’s conservator. No criminal charges have been filed against Gordon. You can watch the lawyer for Bobbi Kristina Brown’s conservator give his full statement following the judge’s ruling below.
