Though she’s released several singles and made a few guest appearances this year, we haven’t seen much of SZA. In fact, it’s been over two years since the TDE first lady dropped a full-length project, and on top of that, there hasn’t been many details about her forthcoming album, A. So fans have been wondering: “What’s the deal?”

Well on Monday, SZA finally responded to that question with tweet that read, “I actually quit.”

I actually quit . @iamstillpunch can release my album if he ever feels like it . Y’all be blessed .

— SZA (@sza) October 3, 2016
The 25-year-old singer then gave permission to TDE’s co-president Terrence “Punch” Henderson to release A “if he ever feels like it.” She then finished her message with “Y’all be blessed.”

Yesterday was the first day of New York City’s newest music festival, The Meadows. Holding down the headliner spot for the first day was J. Cole, who got people to turn out and turn up to his roster of platinum-selling hits.

Kanye West reportedly exited his set at the Meadows Festival in New York City on Sunday night, citing an alleged family emergency as the reason.

Many fans immediately flocked to Twitter to express their concern and disappointment with the unexpected canceled set. They claimed Kanye was 30 to 40 minutes late to his scheduled performance.

If it seems like the rollout for Iggy Azalea’s next album Digital Distortion is taking forever, it’s because, well, it kind of is. The first song from the album, “Azillion” was made available for free streaming nearly ten months ago in January, with the follow-up and lead single “Team” hitting the shelves in March. In May, she released a collaborative single with Britney Spears titled “Pretty Girls” and not much after that.

The Weeknd is officially getting into the shoe game. Puma announced Thursday that it has signed the Toronto singer as the company’s new Global Brand ambassador and creative collaborator. “His laidback, streetwise style and swagger make him the right fit to headline PUMA’s latest Sportstyle campaign, ‘Run The Streets’ which launches in November,” the company wrote in a press release.

Freddie Gibbs has been acquitted of sexual assault charges in Austria, his attorney confirmed on Friday morning. News of Gibbs’ acquittal was first shared by his manager on Twitter.

Fetty Wap and his “Trap Queen” producer, Tony Fadd, are reportedly being sued by a Danish songwriter, Lazar Lakic, who claims the pair stole his beat without permission for Fetty’s hit song.

According to TMZ, Lakic claims to have purchased the exclusive rights to the song’s beat from producer Tony Fadd, which was then exactly sampled in “Trap Queen.” Lakic says Fadd contacted him in January 2015 in an attempt to buy back the exclusive rights to the song, but Lakic turned his offer down.

If you don’t remember, “Trap Queen” arrived as Fetty’s debut single in March 2014 before taking off as the monster hit it later became, launching Fetty’s hip-hop career and holding a secure place on his self-titled debut album that dropped in September of 2015. “Trap Queen” went onto go quadruple platinum in the United States as of May 2016, but Lakic claims he never got a cut.

Lakic is suing both parties for profits from hit song. He reportedly even wants to destroy all copies of “Trap Queen” and stop all sales of the song with the beat in it.

TMZ already heard from Fetty’s attorney, Navarro Gray, who said Fetty legally bought the beat from Fadd and has the paperwork to prove that the beat is rightfully his.

Tyler, the Creator has expanded the artist lineup for the 2016 edition of Camp Flog Gnaw as the rapper has revealed Anderson .Paak and his crew the Free Nationals, Kamasi Washington, and TDE’s own MixedbyAli will take the stage the weekend of Nov. 12-13 at Exposition Park. The three new acts join an already stacked lineup that includes Chance the Rapper, Action Bronson, Lil Wayne, Kehlani, and more. Tickets for the show are already available.

The festival, which Tyler prefers to refer to as a “carnival,” goes down Nov. 12 and 13 at Exposition Park in Los Angeles. This year will be the first time that it stretches over two days. Tickets are set to go on sale next Tuesday. According to the website, general admission prices are $98 single day pass and $175 for the weekend, while $350 will get you the VIP treatment. You can also shell out a separate $40 per day to play unlimited carnival games, of which there are many. Tyler has been throwing the carnival/music festival hybrid since 2012, making this its fifth year of existence. Considering its moved to be a two-day event, it seems to be doing pretty well.

Meek Mill isn’t letting Beanie Sigel off lightly after the veteran rapper appeared on a recent episode of Taxstone’s podcast and took shots at Meek.

In a lengthy Instagram post, Meek Mill screenshot a recent text from Beanie when things were “all good a week ago” between the two and fired back: “ONE MIN THEY TALKING LIKE THIS BEHIND CLOSED DOORS THEN THEY TALKING LIKE THAT?”

“I CANT BELIEVE ‘n#%gas’ went out like that,” Meek continued. For those out of the loop, Beanie Sigel went off on Meek for being ‘fake’ and creating his own problems in the city. “It’s to the point where your fuckery is becoming transparent,” Beanie said. “Now you at a place where niggas is saying man you misrepresenting Philadelphia.”

This all comes after Beanie Sigel was reportedly knocked out by one of Meek’s crew members for saying he helped write lyrics on Meek’s diss track toward The Game.

Beanie Sigel’s text to Meek also appears to show him taking a shot at fellow Philly rapper Lil Uzi Vert, who Beanie feels can’t hold down their city “on some real shit” because Vert “wear pocketbooks wit purple hair.” Meek added Uzi Vert’s Instagram tag to his caption, likely so the rising rapper would see what Beanie had to say about him. All and all, this doesn’t look like it’s going to end anytime soon between the two parties.
