Less than a week after D.R.A.M. announced the release date for his debut album Big Baby D.R.A.M., the Virginia singer/rapper has come through with some more big news: He’s hitting the road for a U.S. tour in support of the upcoming LP.

On Tuesday, D.R.A.M. went to social media to announce the 13-date tour, which will kick off Jan. 13 in Nashville. He’ll then travel to cities such as Atlanta, NYC, Detroit, and San Diego, before wrapping it up on Feb. 11 in Los Angeles. Tickets for the concerts will go on sale this Friday at D.R.A.M.’s official website. You can check out the full list of dates on the poster, featuring his now-famous dog Idnit, below.

Big Baby D.R.A.M. is scheduled to drop Oct. 21, and will include his Lil Yachty-assisted single “Broccoli,” which is sitting at the No. 6 spot on the Billboard Hot 100. The 14-track project will also feature appearances by Erykah Badu and Young Thug.

Winter is coming and Hot 97 is getting us ready by announcing the lineup for their annual Hot for the Holidays concert that is set to include performances from Travis Scott (who will also be performing at ComplexCon), Young Thug, Joey Badass, Jidenna, and Kehlani. That’s not even all that you have to look forward to because Hot 97 will be announcing more artists down the line.

Last year’s show boasted an equally impressive lineup featuring the likes of Mary J. Blige, Puff Daddy, Lil Wayne, Fetty Wap, French Montana, Sean Paul, Jeremih, and Rick Ross, which definitely clues the fans into the level of talent they can expect to see all in one night.

The Hot for the Holidays pre-sale begins this Thursday, Oct. 13 at 10 a.m. ET. Enter the code “HOT97” to get your tickets before they go on-sale Friday, Oct. 14 and catch the very stacked lineup all under one roof Dec. 3 at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J. Stay on the lookout for more artists to be announced later on.

Fall is officially here, and summer love, by definition, doesn’t last (at least not according to that Justin Timberlake song). Still, this one is hard to let go of: Rihanna and Drake have reportedly broken up.

The pair, of course, has been rumored to be in a relationship since this summer, and seemed to confirm it by doing all the normal relationship things, such as getting matching tattoos, buying billboards for each other and sort-of kissing on stage during a live television awards show broadcast.

Azealia Banks once-promising career hasn’t exactly been thriving recently. Her dramatic blow up earlier this year—which included hurling the phrase “sand nigger” at Zayn Malik—got her banned from Twitter, and her strange endorsement of Donald Trump didn’t exactly win her any favor either. Beneath it all, there’s always been good music, like her early 2016 mixtape SLAY Z, but for most of her career it’s been overshadowed by her antics and Twitter beefs.

Now, after some time away from the spotlight, she’s looking to hit the reset button. In a post on Facebook, Banks explained that she is signing with The Wu-Tang Clan’s RZA. “I’m FINALLY getting a record deal,” she wrote. “I’m signing with RZA. He and I have excellent working chemistry. Filming coco with him was loads of fun!! Now I get to make music with him!!!”

In the post, she also promises that her next project, titled Business & Pleasure, would be on its way soon. Aside from SLAY Z, it’s been a quiet time for Banks musically. She hadn’t dropped a project since 2014’s long-delayed debut album Broke With Expensive Taste.

Hopefully, with her social media presence toned down significantly in recent months, she can finally get back to making good music. RZA certainly has a track record of making some high quality music. Is it possible, after years of false starts, that she could finally have the musical breakthrough that everyone predicted years ago when “212” blew up? We’ll have to wait and see, but it’s the most promising development in her career in years.

Much has been written about Kylie Jenner and Tyga’s relationship, much of it by people who have no idea what they’re talking about. Hell, at one point the rumor factory had everyone believing King Kylie and Tyga were working on some presumably great music together as a token of their love. That, like so many other media whisperings, turned out to be total BS. In her new cover story chat with Complex, Kylie opened up about her relationship with Tyga and what it’s meant to her as someone whose every move is meticulously picked apart by the general public.

A fan rushed the stage at Chance The Rapper’s show in Miami on Monday night and the rapper was having none of it. In a pretty aggressive move, the stage rusher grabs Chance from behind mid-song, who looks visibly startled.

Fortunately, Chance did not hesitate to react and quickly pivoted, tackling the guy down to the ground as his signature 3 hat got knocked off his head before security stepped in. The end of the video from the audience shows the stage rusher being escorted off by multiple security guards.

Taylor Gang Entertainment just reached a huge milestone.

After years of independent distribution, the successful hip-hop label has inked an exciting deal with Atlantic Records—the home to TGE founder Wiz Khalifa. According to an Atlantic press release, the partnership will not affect Taylor Gang artists, such as Wiz and Ty Dolla Sign, who are already have contracts with major labels. It will instead give TGE’s new and up-and-coming acts a more visible platform and provide additional opportunities for international success.

“We are very pleased to expand our business with our partners at Atlantic Records/Warner Music,” Taylor Gang co-founder Will Dzombak said in a press release. “This is a great step forward for Taylor Gang as we get ready to move into the new year and focus on growth. We are all very excited.”

Home to names like Juicy J, Chevy Woods, J.R. Donato, Big Jerm, and Sosamann, TGE has established itself as one of the most successful and prolific independent hip-hop imprints. The label’s artists have collectively earned over 6 billion plays on YouTube and accumulated more than 6 billion streams on services like Spotify and Apple Music. And now that they have the backing of one of the biggest labels in the biz, we’re sure the crew’s presence will only get stronger.

“[I’m} very excited about the deal with the gang,” Wiz said in a statement. “These guys are my family and friends first, now we’re gonna take this this shit to the next level.”

Late Thursday night, attendees of The Game’s concert at the Roseland Theater in Portland, Oregon reported that the venue was evacuated after shots were fired. According to reports on social media, the shots happened before The Game got onstage, and the show was subsequently stopped.

One local reporter tweeted that police responded to reports of shots fired at the venue.

Portland Police later confirmed that a shooting did take place inside the Roseland Theater, but in a release sent out early Friday morning, they said “no gunshot victims were located” following the shooting.

Police have not ruled out the possibility of a shooting victim leaving the theater prior to their arrival. “Initial reports are that someone fired a gun inside the theater and there may be a victim that left the scene prior to police arrival,” the release said. “At this point, no gunshot victims have been located or have arrived at any area hospital.”

The Game was at Roseland for a stop on his 1992 Block Wars tour.

The final show of Beyoncé’s Formation Tour at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ started out with a bang, as opening act DJ Khaled brought out a bevy of special guests including The L.O.X., Young M.A., T.I., and Mase; and even engineered a backstage reunion of the almost-was Jay Z/Ja Rule/DMX supergroup Murder Inc. But that proved to be just a warmup for the main event.

During Beyoncé’s set, she brought out none other than Serena Williams for “Sorry.” Serena, of course, appeared in the track’s video.

As if that wasn’t high-profile enough, Mrs. Carter brought out Mr. Carter towards the end of the night for “Drunk In Love.”
Kendrick Lamar also came out to perform “Freedom.”
