Not only did the Toronto rapper announce his next project, More Life, he also debuted several of its tracks, including “Fake Love” and the 21 Savage-assisted “Sneakin.” Just like when any new Drizzy material drops, Twitter lost its collective shit—this was especially true when it came to the track “Two Birds, One Stone,” which included some serious shade. Drake used the track to call out Kid Cudi, who called him out in a tweet shortly before checking into rehab.

Drake kicked off episode 32 of OVO Sound Radio with a big announcement: He’s dropping new music before the year is up.

In December, Drake will be gearing up to release More Life. It’s not quite a mixtape, but rather a playlist of all original music. Here’s the full announcement via HipHop-N-More:

“I’m off like mixtapes, I want to do a playlist. I want to give you a collection of songs that become the soundtrack to your life, so this More Life: The Playlist. Like I said, dropping in December. All original music from me. You might hear some tunes from the family on there. Just really excited. I had a great tour, I had a great summer. And most people would like go probably take a break, but for me I just want to get right back to it. Be with the people again.

Boy Meets World Tour, coming up soon. UK, I’ll be there soon. Big up to UK massive. Everybody—Paris, Amsterdam, Sweden, anywhere we are touching down. But yeah, I just want to celebrate life. More life. That’s what we live by. That’s something we not take for granted.”

The title More Life could be inspired by his letter after he learned of the death of Alton Sterling. “It’s impossible to ignore that the relationship between black and brown communities and law enforcement remains as strained as it was decades ago. No one begins their life as a hashtag. Yet the trend of being reduced to one continues,” he wrote, before signing off his letter with “more life.”

Well, this was unexpected.

Earlier this year, Shad Moss announced he would step away from the rap game following the release of his Snoop Dogg-produced album titled Nylth. He told fans he planned to retire before his 30th birthday in March of 2017, which means he has about five months left to deliver Nylth, as well as his long-awaited project Underrated. But before all that happens, Shad, formerly known as Bow Wow, announced he and Soulja Boy will drop a collaborative EP called Ignorant Shit. Like we said, totally unexpected.

The rappers shared the news via Instagram on Sunday with the album’s cover art. Soulja Boy and Shad confirmed the record will drop on iTunes this week, with an Ignorant Shit tour following soon after. Shad wrote: “Surprise: #newmusic #bowwow #souljaboy #newalbum ‘Ignorant Shit’ soundtrack 2 a young rich nigga life. Get motivated TUESDAY ITUNES @souljaboy IGNORANT SHIT TOUR COMING! #thatway @applemusic BROKE HATING MAFUKAS WONT UNDERSTAND THIS TYPE OF MUSIC SO DONT EVEN LISTEN.”

Ignorant Shit arrives eight years after the rappers linked up on “Marco Polo,” a track that was meant to appear on Bow Wow’s New Jack City II album with Infamous. Though the song was included on the deluxe edition, it was left out of the original release after Bow Wow and Soulja’s highly publicized beef. Obviously, the two have settled their differences since.

Ignorant Shit drops on iTunes this Tuesday. Shad reassured fans that Underrated will drop next.

On Sunday night, just hours before Drake turned 30, he released new music via a special birthday episode of OVO Sound Radio. Of the three new songs, “Two Birds, One Song” generated the most controversy, specifically for its many subliminals.

Suge Knight is reportedly suing Dr. Dre for hiring a hitman to kill him, reports TMZ.

According to the claims, Suge says he had a lifetime management deal with Dre, which entitled him to a 30% cut of Dre’s earnings. However, Suge alleges Dre tried to cut him out of the hefty Beats earnings because Apple, which bought out Beats from Dre for $3 billion back in 2014, didn’t want its brand associated with Suge. The lawsuit maintains that Dre’s solution was to hire a hitman to kill Suge at 1 OAK during the 2014 VMAs pre-party hosted by Chris Brown. That night, Suge was shot six times, but he successfully recovered after being taken to the hospital.

DJ Khaled is known for oversharing. It’s almost as emblematic of who he is as his variety of catch phrases like “mogul alert,” “major key,” and “cloth talk.” Last night however, he took his penchant for sharing his life on Snapchat to a whole new level when he began posting videos of his fiancée? giving birth to his son while music from his most recent album Major Key played in the background.

Ciara is reportedly pregnant with her and Russell Wilson’s first child together, according to two E! News sources. “Ciara is pregnant and is so excited to be a mom,” one source told E! News. “Russell [Wilson] would like to have two to three children. They both would like a big family.”

Speculation about Ciara being pregnant erupted earlier this week when the singer hit up the Refinery Hotel in New York City Tuesday night for Revlon as the brand’s newest global brand ambassador. Ciara was wearing a loose-fitting cream tuxedo jacket that sent her fans off on social media. “Baby bumpin,” one person commented on Instagram.

Fans have been waiting for Meek Mill to release his long-awaited project, DC4, for months, and it finally looks like he’s ready to drop it. Karen Civil, who works closely with Meek, took to Twitter on Thursday morning to share the tracklist for the project, and though it doesn’t show any features or production credits, it’s a sign that the project might finally be done. The notepad includes 14 songs, including another “Tony Story,” and a number of tracks he has been previewing on Instagram over the past few months.

Of course, Meek deactivated his Instagram account earlier this week after he shared a big batch of snippets. From the snippets, we know that Don Q and Tory Lanez are featured on two of the tracks listed, but it’s currently unclear what other artists will make appearances. It’s also unclear when Meek is planning to drop the project, but the tracklist indicates that it could be soon. We’ve reached out to a rep for Meek for comment on when the project will be released and will update further when more details become available.

Kanye West is not going to record Watch the Throne 2 with Jay Z anytime soon. And according to him, it’s because of some behind-the-scenes drama that took place when he tried to get Jay Z to appear on the album version of “Pop Style,” a song on Drake’s fourth album, Views.

After making a surprise cameo on Donald Glover’s FX show Atlanta, Migos have only intensified the wait for their upcoming album. On Monday, Quavo posted a sneak peek of the tracklist for Culture. The draft shows a handwritten list of songs that includes the song titles “T-Shirt,” “Aqua Water,” “Fuck Up the City,” and “Black and Proud.” Dun Deal is credited for the production on “Be Quiet,” while frequent collaborator Murda Beatz is attributed to the cuts “Sky High” and “Get You There.”

The drafted tracklist comes just days after a frustrated tweet from Quavo, berating their label 300 Entertainment for prolonging the drop. Back in January, Offset blamed 300 CEO Lyor Cohen for the delayed release of MigoThuggin, the group’s collaborative record with Young Thug. Originally slated for a Halloween release, the project did not arrive until March of this year.
