That new Michael Jackson album? According to producer Quincy Jones, it can beat it.
Jones, who worked with Jackson on a slew of hits including “Billie Jean,” “Thriller,” and “Bad,” spoke about the posthumous album “Xscape” during an interview on Canadian radio show “Q with Jian Ghomeshi.”
“They’re trying to make money,” Jones said about the new album. “And I understand it.”
“Everybody’s after money, the estate, the lawyers. It’s about money,” Jones said. “It’s not my business anymore.”

‘Xscape,’ the posthumous Michael Jackson album, was released last month.
Jones also spoke about working on bestselling album “Thriller” with Jackson, and how he took the lead on the project.
“What am I gonna learn from Michael? I don’t wanna be singing and dancing,” Jones said. “I didn’t ask him about anything. We told him what songs he was gonna sing. A producer has to do that.”

In the 58-second clip obtained by TMZ, Solange can apparently be seen confronting her rapper brother-in-law while Beyonce stands by. Another man holds Solange back until the elevator stops and the three exit. The trio had been together at the Met Gala after-party at the Standard Hotel in New York City on May 5.
In a separate video taken by Splash, the three can be seen exiting the elevator and walking past a group of photographers. Beyonce and Solange enter a waiting car while Jay Z walks into a different SUV.
“Solange flipped out over something Jay had said, that she took the wrong way,” a source told Us Weekly of the incident. “She took it too hard or too far. Not sure what it was but she greatly overreacted.”
Reps for both parties were not immediately available for comment.
