After teaming up with Juicy J and TM88 for an project comprised entirely of collaborations from the trio, Wiz Khalifa continues to cook up high-profile, high-energy collabs. This time around, the Taylor Gang leader connects with fast-rising Philadelphia rapper Lil Uzi Vert for a new joint single. Today’s record is entitled “Pull Up,” and it finds the pairing of Wiz and Lil Uzi going in over production from Ricky P and Wiz Khalifa’s most recent collaborator TM88. Joey Bada$$ premiered his new song “Devastated” tonight. The track is classic Joey but has a laidback, uplifting feel that seems destined for hip-hop radio. “I used to feel so devastated/At times I thought we’d never make it/But now we on our way to greatness/And all it ever took was patience,” he raps.

He originally premiered the song during his Coachella set last month.

Joey has been making a big impression on radio recently, not with singles, but with freestyles. Back in April, he wowed with a Power 106 freestyle. He also clapped back at Troy Ave for his comments about Capital Steez’ suicide during his 5 Fingers of Death freestyle on Sway in the Morning. Troy had mocked Steez’ death and even released a diss track called “BAD ASS” on which he came at both Steez and Joey.

Of course, Troy is now facing some big legal troubles after his arrest earlier today for attempted murder in connection with the shooting at NYC’s Irving Plaza. Although he didn’t directly reference the incident, Joey did post an Instagram earlier today that many seemed to think allude to it.

Whether or not the release had anything to do with the whole Troy situation, Joey is clearly ready to make his next moves. Hopefully this new song means a new Joey album is on the way soon.

In the meantime, you can stream Joey’s new track “Devastated” below.
