Desiigner releases an all new music video to ‘Caliber’ off his new mixtape ‘New English’ which is available now.
Yesterday, the first installment in XXL’s series of cyphers for their 2016 XXL Freshmen rankings surfaced. That release featured bars from Desiigner, Anderson .Paak and Lil Dicky. For the second round, XXL serve up bars from Lil Uzi Vert, Denzel Curry, Lil Yachty, Kodak Black and 21 Savage. While Denzel Curry goes for a more traditional style and proves he’s an emcee’s emcee, the rest feed off each other and spit like they’re locked in a studio session together. SINGLE “WHAT” FROM THE COZY TAPES ALBUM COMING THIS SUMMER
Young Thug is easily one of the hardest working artists in rap, and on Tuesday afternoon he backed up that narrative with the release of his new track and video for the banger “Turn Up.” The video, which is directed by Garfield Larmond, serves as a collaboration between Thugga and his fiancée Jerrika Karlae, as the two stroll around their Atlanta mansion while Thug raps the lyrics to the infectious and banging trap love song.
It’s unclear why Thugga picked today to drop the video for the new song, but it’s one that he originally teased a snippet of back in May. For Thug, he’s been quite busy this year already, with multiple new projects and a nationwide tour that’s all leading up to his highly-anticipated debut album, Hy!£UN35?, which is also expected to drop this year. Whether or not this ends up on the album or is just a loosie to hold fans over will remain to be seen, but as with most everything Thug has dropped this year, it’s quite awesome. The YouTube description for the track mentions that the video features Jerrika’s new swimwear line.
