Donald Trump Is the 45th President of the United States

The 2016 U.S. Election is finally over and Republican candidate Donald J. Trump has been elected the 45th President of the United States of America. The real estate mogul defeating Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in a hard-fought and -won race. Mike Pence will serve as Trump’s Vice President.

A former reality TV personality, beauty pageant organizer, casino magnate and property maven, Trump kickstarted his political career when he emerged as a crucial figure in the Obama Birther movement. His campaign was built around a simple, galvanizing slogan — “Make America Great Again” — that entailed a return to conservative ideology, deportation of ethnic and religious minorities, and the resurrection of American Industry.

Trump will be sworn into the Presidency on January 20, 2017.
